Sustainability:

This picture shows us a handfull of ways that we can change our energy-usage for the better

To me sustainability is about conserving the Earth's naturals and resources for the future generations. The world has a vastly growing population, leading to a higher demand of food, energy and water. At the same time, technology is becoming a great part of our lives, therefore, optimizing our energy usage and aknowledging waste is going to be vital in the future, if we want to keep Earth as a livable place for the civilizations of the future
We as Teachers have to make sure that the future generations also becomes aware of the issue, and make sure that their children inherit the awareness for sustainability as well, if we're trying to save the world for our children.
